Solution to a problem

Purchased a Profoto softbox that opens like an umbrella. So I purchased the speedring to couple it to my Calumet Genesis lights. I needed to drill a few holes for the screws but the finished product works great! No more bending rods and fighting with softboxes.

Pros
  • The Fotodiox Pro Studio Solutions EZ Pro Softbox Speedring Insert is a versatile and easy-to-use tool for photographers looking to create high-quality, professional lighting setups. Its compatibility with Calumet Genesis 200, 400, and 300B strobe lights allows for a wide range of lighting options and setups to suit any shooting situation
Cons
  • While the EZ Pro Softbox Speedring Insert is a great product for softening the light output from your strobe light, it adds an extra cost to your studio setup. You will need to purchase the actual softbox to set up with this insert, which can quickly become expensive
