FRAM G7315 In Line Fuel Filter Review

I think I've always used Fram fuel filters. They always seem to work very well. Anyway, there were no problems with them before.

What can I say? This is a Fram fuel filter, works great and is considerably cheaper than buying one at your local brick and mortar store! They should probably be changed a lot more often than most people (myself included). I replaced the fuel pump on mine and the fuel filter should always be replaced as well.

Fits my 2004 Chevrolet Classic 4 cylinder. The filter is located under the rear of the vehicle in front of the fuel tank. I change mine when they took the fuel tank off to replace the fuel pump. Mine rusted pretty good thanks to the salty Minnesota roads! If you need to remove the fuel tank for maintenance; I would suggest changing the fuel filter as it is easy to get to.

After my 03 grand am gt fuel pump broke, I had to look for a replacement. I called all the parts stores around me and they wanted about $300 for the pump and wiring harness. I couldn't beat the price ordering this online. I am very happy with the wiring, fuel pump and filter. No problem and I bought it for about $150. Can't win! I am using this rating for all 3 products as I ordered them at the same time and they are for the same thing.

This is a fuel filter. Nothing fancy, does what it's supposed to and was cheaper at Revain than my local auto parts store. It was a perfect match for my 2005 Chevrolet Impala 3.8L (naturally aspirated). My 2000 Grand Am's fuel filter was hard to reach (just behind the tank) and the clips that hold it in place are hard to reach . hmm one more thing You don't need any special tools to remove them, a flathead screwdriver will do. Release the tab, push both sides (where you can see the green) up past the line (the back you can't see is free) and the filter will push up and release. (Don't push it all the way or you won't have to replace it, and they don't just sell the green tab. Other than that…
