The edges are uneven. I sanded and sanded and then tried to smooth it out with a file. nope The metal has a bulge on one edge.

the color is sloppy if you are looking for a smooth fit. Like latex paint dripping from the edge. Great as a secondary light ruler with cm.

The paint was not smooth. I bought this to use for calligraphy and needed to sand down the paint on the inside edge so I could draw straight lines while blocking something. Otherwise it is as expected.

Waste of money. The paint smudges and rubs off with fingers. At first I thought it was just some kind of grease on the ruler, but when I wiped it off with a tissue the marks just came off. There are several spots of smeared paint on both sides.

I ordered one and returned it because the inside edge was uneven and chipped. I got a replacement and it had the exact same problem. Also, it was accurate and easy to read, you just couldn't use it to draw a straight line!

I was a bit disappointed looking at the place. The yellow paint was so thick that ridges formed on the edges of the ruler. I took a scraper and scraped the paint off the edges of the ruler to draw straight lines. Removing excess paint revealed another issue with the square: there was a 50mm indentation on the edge, which was about 0.5mm deeper than the rest of that edge.
