For camshaft adjuster-pre-tensioning, camshaft locking and removal/installation of timing chain(s) align camshafts in a correct position. Created from rugged drop forged construction and heat treated to withstand difficult and rugged jobs, long lasting and reliable tool. Applicable to Audi A4 A6 A8 3.2L V6 FSI and VW Quattro 2.4L(see more details below). Includes 2 Camshaft Locking Tool (T40070), Timing Chain Tensioner (T40071), Crankshaft Locking Pin (T40069) , M14 Torx Bit (1/2 dr) , Pin Wrench (T10020) and Tensioner Bolt. With a carry case for convenient storage and transporting.

Impressive solution for perfect engine alignment

The FreeTec crankshaft alignment tensioner is a must-have tool in the automotive industry. After I put it to the test, I was amazed by its ability to make engine alignment an effortless process .The product is incredibly easy to use and is compatible with various engine sizes. Its durable design ensures it will last several years IN even the toughest environments. While the price is higher than some other engine tools the quality and efficiency justify the cost..

The tool worked well - Tools and Hardware

Resetting the valve train on a 2.5 liter VW Engine. The tool works exactly as described. The tool was not developed for 2.5, but we have found that it can be used for this purpose without any problems. Cam and crank stops worked flawlessly. I would advise tool makers to add a few more sizes to the cam holder to make the tool a little better.
