They work so well!

I was shocked they work so well! I keep a sheet in the bottom of my bread bin and it protects the bread from mold for so long that the bread gets stale long before it gets moldy. Our bread has never gone moldy since we bought it! I think we'll try fruit and veg next as it worked so well!

Doesn't Work: Kitchen and Dining Room

Not only does this not work, it seems to speed up mold growth. I put the sheet in a bag with a loaf of Italian bread. Two hours later the husband went to cut the slice and the loaf was completely green. It was fresh and tasty two hours ago. Not only did this product rob me of the purchase price, it also robbed me of the cost of my bread!

  • Not Cheap, But Decent

  • Good, But Not Great

Works like a charm for storage and organization

I love keeping my bread on the counter but my apartment gets moldy in 2-3 days. If I put one of these in the bread bin (very important, it touches the bread!), my bread stays fresh and doesn't get moldy for weeks. The only time it didn't work was when it wasn't touching bread, so make sure there's physical contact and prepare for fresh, soft bread days or even weeks after purchase!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Legacy model

Works well! best in food containers

I use Fresh Paper for fruit and veg. It really works! I tried a pack of these bread wrappers and found that they work really well too. I use them with loaves of bread, croissants, muffins, cookies, crackers, and other baked goods. Found a use that wasn't mentioned: I put a leaf in a basket of crunchy cat food. It keeps food fresh and crispy. I suppose it would be great with dog food or rabbit pellets. I change my sheets every month.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and shelf life from testers
Cons

Really works! for food storage

I first saw her and the inventor on the TV show Innovation Nation. We always threw away moldy bread because there are only two of us and bread goes bad quickly. Bread had to be put in the fridge to keep it from spoiling. I don't like chilled bread, it always gets stale. I've used Freshpaper Food Saver and I have to say I'm impressed. For the first time we ate a whole loaf of bread without chilling the loaf.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Didn't work in grocery storage

I usually buy six bagels a week and eat one bagel a day. If I wrap the bagels in plastic but don't refrigerate, mold will sometimes form on the fifth day and of course on the sixth day. So I refrigerate three of them for the last three days of the week. I put fresh paper in a bag of bagels and left them on the table for a week. In fact, by the fifth day, mold appeared on the remaining bagels. The maple scent on the paper carries over to the bagels. I didn't really care, but the smell is said to

Works GREAT in the hot and humid south!

I was skeptical about buying it. Will they work or will they fail? They work! I have big, fat bread bins that I store store-bought organic bread, homemade bread, organic wraps, cornbread, etc. Living in the Deep South, the only way I used to be able to store bread was so that it wasn't topped. The happiest thing was putting the molds in the fridge for two days. A process takes place in the refrigerator that turns delicious bread into a mixture of sawdust and industrial cardboard. This paper…

Seems to work great!

After using bread wrap for the first time, I was ready to return it; My bagels are still moldy on the counter. But to be honest they've been sitting out for a few days which I know was unwise given it came from a bagel shop and they don't add any preservatives. Next time I'll just use paper. But I've put it in bags with other breads and they seem to have taken root very well. Try it! I also bought fresh grocery paper and was blown away. Pair it with my cilantro, which always goes bad after a…

Works but needs to be changed too often.

I have bought all three types that they sell. One for fruit, one for bread and pastries and one for cheese, one for fruit works very well but I found it can only be used twice. One for bread is excellent. It kept my bread and rolls fresh for a month. Not to mention cheese. So fruit papers work, but you still have to buy them. I will try another brand of earplugs. Debbie Meyer's green drawers are good for everything, but if you get wet you'll have to wipe them down, or I'll just keep a paper…
