Don't let the word "INDUSTRIAL " fool you

Read the fine print. The label says "INDUSTRIAL". I don't know what branch would be satisfied with this blade. I was looking for a blade to split 8/4 red oak and 6/4 padauk. I assumed for the price paid and the Freud name I found what I needed, but I was wrong! The label says the blade is good for everything and great for nothing. While the blade appears to be well made and has enough carbide tip to be resharpened many times, the cross cuts are no better than most blades I've paid half as much…

Great Blade - Fantastic company.

I bought this blade in 2007 and cut miles with it and it holds its edge. The non-sticky surface is beautiful and reduces or eliminates sticking in tight cuts. I have many commercial Freud blades and have never been disappointed with quality, blade or cut. You can spend more, but you just can't do better. Note: Freud is a great company and a pleasure to work with. Last week I noticed two missing teeth after so many years. I sent it back to customer service with a copy of the invoice and they…

Two diseased teeth from the pack. Updated below.

Not satisfied with this blade. I have several Freud products and have always been very happy with them. This blade was adjusted and two cuts were made. Was just about to put my blade in the corner slot and found this chipped tooth and another one with a bad connection. Sent back and hope the best with my replacement. Will be updated. Monkey Fart.Update: I have my second blade and it also has bad teeth right out of the box. I contacted Freud via Facebook and was told they would escalate my issue

Good but not the best among power and hand tools

Excellent multi-purpose blade. I put it on a Grizzly G0700 Slider while my Ridge Carbide was being sharpened. I had two of them and one "died" and I forgot when I needed a replacement I took this one. I used a Freud negative front tooth on my 10" Bosch axial blade and it was a great blade so I decided to give it a try. Overall I'm very happy, but it's not exactly a blade. Ridge is designed for cross cutting. I don't want to switch blades for ripping and cross cutting and was willing to…

Leaves terrible blade marks.

I got a used Unisaw but the guy kept his expensive blades so I ordered this 50 tooth combo blade because it's the same design as a Diablo blade (pretty sure these blades are also made by Freud) that I have on my working saw, except this blade has a full kerf. The seller told me the saw was aligned and ready to use. When I got home I measured everything, alignment was accurate on all measurements (all within 0.0015) except for the guard which was pulled 0.003 out of the back of the blade. I…
