G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB DDR4 3200 Desktop Memory - F4-3200C16D-8GVKB Review and Specifications Review

Great for gaming and multitasking. Now EVERYTHING I do is fast and efficient. This is a quality Ram and well worth buying. While it might be better to go up to 16GB if you can afford it, as long as you're not doing too many things at once, that 8GB will work.

I bought this pack of RAM modules for a Ryzen based computer and it turns out that G.Skill isn't just the exact same part number for RAM with Samsung and SK Hynix chips (I have Hynix), but the ram I got was probably a manufacturer fault as well. I couldn't get this RAM to run at speeds above 2400MHz without extreme instability, even though high-performance Hynix chips (like those found on 3200MHz RAM sticks) almost always run at 2966. I have to decide to return them and get a refund and order…

Other than the current RAM price, this is great RAM. Worked at 3200 speed on my Strix x370 motherboard with no fiddling. Very happy with the performance so far! UPDATE: I ordered another set for a different PC build. It seems that G.Skill no longer makes this RAM using the same Samsung chip that I ordered in a previous review. The latest kits use a Hynix-M die instead, which almost certainly won't hit 3200MHz, despite featuring in the QVL listings for Ryzen processors on several motherboards…

I need more RAM to run the program and it works as intended. I've had the old RAM (same model and brand) for almost a year now and haven't had any problems with this product. I highly recommend it.

Warning it is not compatible with MSI X470 Gaming Pro motherboard, if you try to enable the XMP 1 3000MHz profile, the system stays even on the XMP 2 3200 MHz profile stuck, better exit MSI website to check which RAM is supported. I went with the G.Skill F4-3200C14D-16GVK listed on the Msi website.

perfect but I wouldn't recommend buying it now due to the lack of RAM rp. the price shot up (along with all the other rams) but who knows when prices will drop. some are assuming by the fourth quarter of 2018.

One bar DOA, didn't reach 3200MHz or even 2900MHz. Bought this RAM with a Samsung processor in 2018 and got the speed it wanted and still works great.
