Great product that does its job well

I used the GPS mainly for driving and finding addresses. Garmin EMAP deluxe is just right for this purpose and does it very well! If you want to find specific addresses, you must first get a subway guide CD and load detailed map information into your GPS. Otherwise there are only main roads and motorways. You won't get lost, but if the house you're looking for is on a local road, you won't find it. You need a data cartridge to store detailed maps. Emap Deluxe comes with an 8MB cartridge. 8MB is

Useful, durable, fun!

I bought a Garmin eMAP GPS about 3 months ago and I still enjoy it. It really amazes me how I can hold an instrument the size of my palm that can move me around the world with near-precise precision. Just think, 5 years ago this wouldn't have been possible without some serious mapping and clock building (GPS time: around 15 seconds). In my opinion, eMap is better than GPS III+ in several ways. Great mapping tool for GPS, finders and accessories

This is one of those AWESOME little mapping tools! I bought it about 3 weeks ago and I love it. It is very easy to use and has many features. It's a GPS you can put in your shirt pocket and the controls are easy to use. Although most of the features are required for navigation, there are some downsides. First, it's not designed to be submerged in water. In fact, it is not sealed and is simply considered "rainproof". This can cause problems when using this device near water or when hiking during
