🚗 Enhance In-Car Safety: Garmin Mini Suction Cup Mount for Speak, Plus, Dash Cam 45, 55 and 65W, 010-12530-05 Review

I had a similar mount for my old Garmin GPS. This allowed me to take the GPS with me on trips. I could put my sat nav in rental cars - it has never let me down. When I got my new DVR, I didn't want to limit its placement by adding a metal bracket to the window. I'll admit I like the idea of a metal mount and its miniature, but I'll switch the minimalist look for something more functional. Garmin never fails to impress me with the "usefulness" of their technology.

I don't get bad reviews. I wonder if people removed the protective plastic. This thing has been riding on a rented van window in the South Carolina sun all week and has never slipped. And complain about the price, of course they could add it to the box and charge us more. It was an option to only pay for what you need. I don't know why it is not listed as compatible with the Mini DVR, but it sure is. Maybe Garmin didn't list it as compatible so buy more flat mounts (the ones that only work with the mini dash cam), I don't know but the two work great together as you can see in the photo I took attached (and no, the suction cup mount doesn't interfere with the camera lens in any way during the video). The suction power is amazing and the mount incredibly small. VERY happy with this mount!

Very glad I found and purchased this mount as it is a much better mount for Garmin Mini 2 DVR than the adhesive mount that came with the camera as I use it to record the camera and can put my sunscreen on without the disadvantages of the adhesive mount which gradually comes off over time as you mount/remove the camera in such situations. To be honest this should come standard with the dash cam, not the sticky glue I keep falling off of when my car gets too hot. It has really great suction, great clip for extra security. My only complaint about the Garmin55 was the included magnetic mount. The magnetic device is great if you only want to use it on one vehicle. I received this Garmin Mini2 dashcam mount. I didn't like the idea of using glue on the mount that comes with the DVR. This limits the DVR's versatility as each car requires a mount and I don't like the idea of sticking something to the windshield. were always connected.
