GE Lighting 150W 💡 High Brightness Bulb - 2680 Lumens Review

I have been ordering this product for about 5 years. I usually get about nine months out of 12 bulbs. The lights are on most of the time, so in the past I've been happy. On this last order, 1 bulb worked 1 day, the second 4 days. Since I wrote this review, the third bulb has lasted 10 days; still not acceptable. Since my last edit, 1 lamp has taken 20 days, 1 2 days and 1 4 days. Other reviews mentioned this but I ignored them. I think I need to find another source or replace another bright…

I'm SO tired of not having enough light to read. We baby boomers are getting older and our eyes can no longer read with 75 watt lightbulbs. I'm for the environment, but not at the expense of full functionality. I finally have the light I remember when I was younger. I can actually read without a headache. Unfortunately, LED bulbs with this brightness are too expensive, too big and don't seem to be available in this kind of bulbs. It's a great standard bright soft white bulb and I'm very happy with it. While not as efficient as LEDs, they should still catch up with this product. I use these bulbs with automatic light control and dimmers so I only run them at 60% brightness most of the time but can dim or brighten them with my home automation if needed. I don't like bad reviews, but I also don't like products that don't do what they're supposed to; and a lightbulb used only on weekends in the lamp in the common room must last more than a month. It's not like this. After the first two bulbs burned out fairly quickly, I began marking the next bulb's box with the burnout date to remind myself.
