Great tool for changing parts

Worked like magic to hook my belt over the top around the bottom of the crankshaft pulley without getting under my truck.

Nice to have when working with V-ribbed belts

Nice to have when working with V-ribbed belts. This tool can make your life a lot easier when installing the belt onto the pulleys. I used it on a 2010 Honda Odyssey when replacing the supercharger.

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for older people

Makes belts easier to slide

I work on trucks so I always change belts because of the high truck mileage. With this tool I can replace most of these belts without removing the fan. I also have big hands and with this tool I no longer cut my hands. Worth a dime.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Secret

GW Belt Grab Tool

The GearWrench Belt Grab Tool has worked well for me so far. This enabled me to somewhat simplify the installation of V-ribbed belts in the tightest of spaces. My old version has no moving parts so the belt can slip, but this tool allows you to hold the belt while maneuvering it in place. I can recommend it. This is an unsolicited review from an experienced mechanic.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Minor issues

Real Tipping Point

First off, let me say I'm a big guy. I say this because it's almost impossible to get my hands where they need to be to change the strap, and even if I get there, I'll come out with torn hands. This tool completely saves you from putting your hands where they don't belong. I use it and the Gearwrench Flex Head Serpentine Belt Tool Kit every time I need to replace the belt.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • A bit shabby

Works as expected - strap

This is a great tool and is especially good if you need it to specialize in getting a strap in and out in tight spaces. Clamping and unclamping is smooth and easy, and won't tangle or snag in transit. There are some hallmarks that have been adopted, but with good reason. It's not a wrench you hold in your hand all day, it's a specialty tool, so adding cosmetics and convenience costs is mostly wasteful. The reason I deducted a star isn't due to poor performance. On the one hand, this has to do…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
