I use my GE GXWH30C filter wrench and it works great. It was definitely the right tool for the job. Not much to say here, other than that it was an actual GE wrench that fitted snugly into the filter housing to remove it. It's plastic so I wouldn't say it's durable, but I'd be surprised if it didn't outlast the life of the filter. I purchased two identical filter wrenches to remove the GE GXWH30C and GXWH35F filter housings. I received them today and they fit both cases above. My old GE filter wrench snapped after a few uses, even with no water pressure on the body when removing.
