GermGuardian AC4150BLCA Sanitizer Allergens Guardian Review

I bought 2 of these, one for each child's room and they work really well. photo proof. I had new filters ready and after 5 months I changed them. In the rooms you can see everything that the filter has caught and prevented from getting into the room air. On the left is the filter after 5 months and on the right is the new filter I am installing.

So far I really like the style, design and ease of setup. The only thing stopping this product from getting 5 stars is the lack of a red light option. Blue, white, and green light are known to disrupt melatonin production, so they don't promote restful sleep. I would happily buy another one and rate it 5 stars and decline all other colors if they gave the red option.

Really wanted to give a better rating. I bought it for white noise and an underwater projector. White noise is perfect and I want to say the same about the projector. However, I cannot do this. I only received the star pattern. No animals and no underwater world, which I was really looking forward to. It's not easy to find a sea creature projector that has so many other uses! All stars including the one sent to me.

My 3 year old loves his pad! He loves the stars in his room and it's a good night light - not too bright. It can be noisy on the highest settings, but on the lowest it's a pleasant white noise that doesn't bother any of us. We have several GermGuardian devices around the house as the whole family has mild to severe allergies and this has helped a lot. This is my second GermGuardian as opposed to the first one I was planning to put in my daughter's room. It's a nice little device that does a decent job, the backlight feels nice, but it's LOUD. Even on a low setting you can hear from outside the room, even the baby monitor picks it up so we had to learn to sleep with it. I don't like that it sucks air from behind against the wall so naturally it picks up more dust from the corners rather than the whole room. In general, the device is not bad…

I was looking for a white noise car as I sleep an unusual amount and live in a noisy area. A friend suggested a larger version of this brand as she uses one and assured me it would be enough to produce decent white noise. I thought it was a great idea. My bedroom is tiny so I chose the "kids" version. She was right. It's perfect. Now outside noise is blocked and the air is cleaned. It suits my needs perfectly. It's not loud on the lowest settings, but if you're looking for near-complete silence
