The missing parts are the best in my rating

It always comes without a lid. It clearly says there are 3 pieces in the set, but any replacement order will only include the vest and bow tie!

Pros
  • My son had a project on Thomas Edison and had to dress like him as a kid. The cutest set!
Cons
  • The vest may not fit properly due to different body shapes and sizes.

Adorable..... in my rating

This set is very cute and so well made! My son has only worn the vest so far and it fit perfectly all evening with no problems. He did try on a hat and bow tie, however, and both fit well (with a slight adjustment to the bow tie!).

  • Use at a wedding. i love the set The hat is small. It would be great if you could choose the size of the hat.

  • Limited size may exclude some potential customers.

Charming: my rating

I ordered this for a report card for my child to do and this outfit is adorable. Fit and quality are really great. My son is 8 years old and I bought him a size 8. He is slim and of average height. Fits perfectly.

Pros
  • The vest set has a great quality and is unbeatable for the price!
Cons
  • Matching a hat and bow tie with other outfits can be difficult.

Disappointing in my opinion

The vest is nice but the hat is totally out of place. The hat is oversized compared to the vest. My boy could never carry. The hat is also too big for my husband.

My son used this set for his Newsies costume and it was perfect! He looked adorable. He is 10 years old and I got him 10, fits great.

  • The fit was perfect and it looks great on the grandson. He wears it all day, every day.

  • A bow tie can be uncomfortable or difficult to tie for younger children.

This would be perfect for a news gig my kid was in, but you definitely need to rate it. They walked a little. Quality and fit was good value.

Good quality and fit. The color is deceptive.

It was well made and fit my son perfectly. The color wasn't quite as expected. In fact, it was multicolored, and not just black, white, gray.

The hat is small - my new rating

I have bought this item twice. The first pack, size 6, was missing a bow tie and the hat was too small. And I ordered a size 7. The cap is still too small and unusable. I'm glad I have the vest but I'm very disappointed in the other items.

Very happy with this purchase!

I ordered this for my son to wear for the school musical "Christmas carol". I ordered a size 8 but was concerned the hat would be too tight for his head. Everything fits perfectly! It appears to be of very good quality and would be a lovely addition to his post-performance formal wear. He is 8 years old and he really likes that there is a "map" on the lining of the vest. It looks adorable!

Great set but the bow tie was missing.

Very high quality set, especially for the price. It is true to size and very elegant and cute. However, I was very disappointed because the bow tie was missing. It says so in the description and even on the packaging, but it wasn't there. Revain customer service was kind enough to get my money back but I was unable to get a replacement in time. My son was very disappointed because flies are cool πŸ˜‰. I wish I could give it 5 stars because the hat and vest are great.

Extra Small Hats

When I opened these hats for my three grandchildren who are having a daughter's wedding in April, I was so excited at how cute they are. Unfortunately an almost two year old could wear them but the hats for 6 and 7 year olds have, well I think they are the same size as two year olds. They have an elastic band on the back, I'm trying to see if there's a way to make them bigger without touching them with an ax. I would love to give 5 stars but the size of the hats just let me down. I should add…
