Perfect fit. Replaced my 10 gallon suburban water heater on my 1996 safari. Accidentally ordered a 6 gallon door for the first time. Absolutely worth the money. High quality metal. Now I have to find a place to paint it to match my carriage.

Purchased with Girard 2 GPM water heater. The best refill I've ever spent on my RV! Great replacement for my 10 gallon water heater. The color even matches our sneaker. I like the new on-demand water heater. Be sure to buy butyl tape and silicone.

Very easy to install, works great. We replaced our factory 10 gallon hot water tank with a tankless Girad GSW-2 hot water tank on our 5 wheel van. The door must be purchased separately. It was very easy to install and I prefer the swing door. We used a Suburban on our last RV, which is also good, but we like the Girad system and door better.

When our water heater caught fire we had to upgrade to a tankless system. The door that came with the system did not fit as we had the SW10 system installed. Luckily after reading some of the reviews and checking the sizing on another site we took a chance and ordered this one. It fits perfectly and we just have to make a guide frame in the new tank to keep it in place!

I am a contractor and use residential (electrical) versions similar to this unit on most of my projects. My only complaint is that it can take up to 5 seconds for the unit to boot up, but it shuts off almost immediately as soon as you turn off the water. This leads to cycles of heat, cold, heat and cold, for example when washing dishes. It's just something you have to get used to.
