Gave away all our child gates and then got a puppy. Works well on our dog. The tree is unfinished, maybe not the best for the baby. Good for the price.

Good product, suitable for pets, NOT FOR CHILDREN. Works as it should, completely satisfied with the product. The only reason it's not a 5 is that it doesn't exactly fit in some doors.

Just the thing so that my stray little schnauzer doesn't wander into other rooms when I couldn't watch him at home. Excellent quality and very durable. Highly recommended.

Bought actually to keep my dogs out of the room where we keep the litter box. Thank goodness we were finally able to stop dogs from thinking that cat poop is dog treats.

This pet gate met my expectations and fits our two Cocker Spaniels very well. I would like the plastic latch on the adjustment bar to be like our other gates It's metal, but so far it's working well and we'll buy another one if the need arises.

This gate works great and most adults can climb over it. It's not trendy and probably has a shorter lifespan than metal equivalents, but for the price I think it's very good quality. The only suggestion I have is to mark the appropriate slots for the holding hand with something MUCH darker than a pencil.

I have pet rabbits, so I found chicken wire to be a better fit for keeping small pets indoors. What I have found with these gates is that a child or dog can easily push them out the door. The locking system is a little tricky to fit snugly in a crooked doorway in an old house. I like the strength of wood and wire. Rabbits chew on plastic, so wire is perfect for ferrets, rabbits, or guinea pigs.

I found this product to be well built and durable, easy to set up and use and best of all it was definitely the best price I found on the internet. The rubber stops prevent scratches or scuffs on the door frame and prevent it from being pushed around by my small dog and my friend's 2 year old daughter when she arrives. I bought this gate for the bottom of the stairs to stop an 18 pound dachshund from climbing up. The main reason for buying this gate was the price. The bottom of my ladder is 40.5" and while the gate fits, it also opens and closes between sections.
