Cat scratching post

General view of a cat scratching post. The top tear is a bit difficult for them, but if you fold fabric side down, everything is fine. If a regular cat tried to fit in the closet, they wouldn't be able to turn around to get out (I used this space for toy storage until I got a new kitten). The larger your cat, the more the beds and platforms will rock, which is to be expected, but the amount of rocking was a little disconcerting when working with my adult cat. Also, the inside of the posts will…

Terrible product - waste of money

Whoever created this should have NO UNDERSTANDING of what a cat is and how it works. The top level is unreachable because cats cannot SEE that they can get there. The platform below him isn't long enough to appreciate the distance and the fact that they can jump up. The material is cheap nylon, and my cats have been tearing it apart (since day one) leaving traces of tears. over the house. The post that was supposed to support it got so wobbly that my cats didn't even want to climb it and…

best for small cats

I have a 3 year old cat who weighs about 14 pounds and is too big for this small tree. We bought it for Christmas and three months later it fell apart. I think our cat is probably a little rough with him, but from the minute he first jumped onto the top perch we saw him flex under his weight. Now the game is to watch the cat climb on him and bet on when he will collapse under him. (It hasn't actually collapsed yet, so don't worry about the cat's safety and don't make mean comments.) It appears…

Not Good for a Big Cat - Top Perch Rocking

Although the price is good and the dark color is great, the design is not suitable for a cat if it is a BIG cat. . I've had a beige tower for years and my (large) cat loves the top perch. It only had a 13 inch platform. In this design, the top bed on the 15-inch rod and the 18-inch rod are connected, and this does not encourage the big cat to climb to the top. It wobbles and moves so much that I'm afraid it will tip over because it's heavy at the top. It would be better if the house section was

reasonably decent build and NOT for big cats

My cat is quite large (14lbs) so one of the most important things for me in a scratching post is stability. Unfortunately, this is the main thing missing from this tree. Because of the layered design, the top layers tend to wobble when he jumps on them, after which he discontinued them entirely. I removed them and partially rearranged the tree to make it more comfortable. I should also note that the top layer isn't perch like it looks in the picture, but more of a cover. It's also a full 2 feet

Kittens admitted for fun but be careful when assembling

My two cats were happy with my son's new kitten and refused her entry into THEIR apartment. So we had to buy a kitten from one of her own. We put it together in minutes (literally) with simple instructions. We only had a mess when I accidentally attached a piece upside down. (When setting up, pay close attention to where the carpet is!) This was quickly and easily remedied and we moved the scratching post down. It's not too heavy, but I wouldn't recommend carrying it alone as it's a little…

  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Empty

Okay firstly when assembled as in the picture it is larger than 62in. It's about 6 feet (72 inches). But that's a plus when you look at the prices of larger scratching posts. Second, yes, it's chipboard. But it's a scratching post for less than a hundred dollars. You don't buy one of these don't expect old oak. A medium-sized cat can take it well. Although the cabinet is only suitable for a small cat or kitten to lie comfortably in it. Although our fat man is still trying to squeeze in. Okay if
