Prevents pulling – The GoodBoy Head Halter is a comfortable and humane way to prevent your dog from pulling on the leash during walks and other situations that require control. The head halter fits around your dog’s head and nose (similar to a horse’s halter). It is not for use as a muzzle. This prevents choking and reduces your dog’s urge to pull. By using a headcollar like this one, you get maximum steering efficiency. Walking your dog becomes safer and more pleasant for both you and your dog. Comfortable and safe – Unlike other headcollars, the GoodBoy Head Halter is designed with soft neoprene and padded for maximum comfort for your pet. It offers a safety strap that attaches to your dog’s regular collar at the back of the neck - no more dangling safety straps. It has durable nylon straps and strong stitching. Our design features additional reflective stitching to help keep dogs of all sizes safe. Easily adjustable and secure fit – A quick release buckle and adjustable fit make this quality harness a secure solution to unwanted behavior with your pet’s safety in mind. It provides a plastic clip under the chin to easily adjust the loop for the snout. Adjustable side straps (size 1 does not have adjustable side straps) and an adjustable neck strap make for a better and more secure fit. This ensures that the halter does not slide off easily and makes it easy to put on any dog. Choose the right size – To ensure the best fit with our no-pull head halter it’s important to measure the snout and neck circumference at least twice, using the instructions pictured, and choose the smallest result for optimal fit. The sizing chart is in the third picture. The halters have adjustable neck straps, side straps and nosebands (size 1 does not have adjustable side straps). The halters do not fit short-snouted breeds like Boxers, Bulldogs and toy dogs like Chihuahuas. Warranty – The 1-year warranty helps to find the best fit for your dog. It covers incorrect sizing and chew damage for your added peace of mind.

The Dog We Always Wanted

I have a 150 lb Rottweiler mix and if he wants to go anywhere he takes me with him. I've tried everything and nothing worked EXCEPT this halter. My puppy is very friendly and wants to play with everyone. He scares a lot of people by dragging me around to say hello to his new boyfriend. People don't usually stay to play. Now he really makes friends. We both thank you. Me for not being the jerk next door anymore and the puppy for making new friends.

Good buy! in collars, harnesses and leashes

So day one was like trying to walk a stubborn mustang and she blew it off its face 406 times (I returned it 407 times ), but when we actually went, I wasn't dragged. Day 2, only lost about 36 times, day 3 a few, and today I didn't lose it at all! I've got an overly eager pit almost ripping my arm out of the socket! and it makes my life easier! I have tried many different types of halters, collars, harnesses, soft leashes and trainers for my 79 pound rescue. He's the best dog in the world until you try to walk him. We looked at a ton of different options and ended up buying a GoodBoy. It has features the Gentle Leader doesn't have: extra wide padding to prevent nose chafing and straps to keep the nosepiece securely in place (except as noted below). Both work great in this regard. Great first impression!

I work with dogs for a living so I have seen countless different harnesses and leashes as well as all products. I have this for my personal pup and may have clients on hand who could benefit from it. I received it the other day and was very impressed with the quality of the product. The stitching feels solid and the padding comes together really well.
