This stuff is terrific.

I just went up on the roof to see how this product was working out, and that it has dried and cured. I am very very satisfied. I won't be needing a professional to come make a patch bc I did it and it's better than new, stronger than new and drier than new. I'll keep an eye on it, of course, but I won't be needing any roofer for quite some time.

Pros
  • So easy to spread and apply!
Cons
  • annoyed that I have to go out of my way to return this. Box OK but can is all dented in.

3 Stars - Might Update Later

Received this item last night. The shipping box was in perfect condition, opened it to find six cans with dents. Every single one. Dented. Not really sure if this will effect use of the item yet. But will update once I find out.

Pros
  • USE ON: Roofs, Gutters, Skylights, Flashing, Chimneys*, PVC Pipe Joints, Windows, RVs, DIY Projects and More! Not for continuous submersion or below-waterline use.
Cons
  • The patch may be too thick or bulky for certain applications

Hoped it would work

Did not even begin to seal and waterproof the fountain after two coats. Not a product that does what it says it will do. Thanks for attention!

Cons
  • The liquid may not work well on surfaces that are already damaged or corroded

TURNED WHITE THEN PEELED OFF!

I used this to coat a large custom tiled birdbath. I cleaned, lightly sanded the surface and wiped thoroughly before applying, let it cure for 2 days, then filled it with water. The water turned milky, smelled of chemicals, foamed at the surface of and the coating turned opaque white and began peeling off. I have been scraping it ever since trying to save the birdbath. It was heartbreaking.

Pros
  • Another Gorilla product that is waaay better than the competition.
Cons
  • The patch may not be as flexible as advertised

goes on great and works well, but i had other issues

The product works as described. Two issues. First, if used in a bath or outdoors old will grow everywhere under it. Second, I did my best to close it after using 20% of the bottle. After a month the entire bottle dried out. So, use it when opened or you may end up throwing most of it out.

Pros
  • Sealed where I put it. It’s easier to be able to pour it, but not applications can you do that.
Cons
  • The product may not work well on metal surfaces

Tried this on a mower tire

My mower tire had a leak close to the rim so I spread this product on it, hoping it would help. It took 3 coats before it took longer for the tire to lose air. Oh well, I figured it was worth a try and maybe it will come in handy in the future.

Pros
  • This product is a cost-effective solution for anyone looking to maintain their outdoor gear, such as tents, boats, and tarps
Cons
  • The product may not be suitable for use on outdoor surfaces

Take your time in my review

Take the time to mix as instructed and it goes on smoothly. Goes on best if you load the top side of the brush up, then float and drag for clean lines. Practice on a piece of cardboard before applying to desired area. I used it to coat the inside of metal planter containers that will be used indoors. Two coats provided a durable waterproof layer and I used cheap plastic bristle brushes (would not recommend a foam brush with this). I allowed 48 hours between coats. Perfect for what I needed and…

Long cure time, Great results

It stuck very well to the wood I was painting, but was a little hard to spread. It took about 48 hours to cure each layer, but the final result was great!

Pros
  • Spreads easy and seems to seal good. Time will tell about weather resistance.
Cons
  • The patch may not hold up well in extreme temperatures

GORILLA PATCH AND SEAL

THIS IS A NEW PRODUCT OUT THERE, USED IT FOR A PROJECT, THE PROBLEM IS IT FORMED A FILM ON TOP IN THE CAN AND MADE THIS UNUSEABLE, WAS A MESS, EVEN CONTACTED COMPANY SOMETHING VERY WRONG WITH THIS PRODUCT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Pros
  • this is just as good as the other brand
Cons
  • Did not work for me , very disappointed

Rather than buy cedar boards to make some additional shelves for my catio I decided to use up some leftover plywood that was sitting around. Since plywood delaminates pretty quickly in rain I thought I'd try sealing the boards up with this Gorilla rubberized sealant. My past experience using Varathane has been futile, even with three thick coats water got into plywood and delaminated, coated surfaces also peeled up. Time for something better.I wanted to lather it on nice and thick so the liquid

I bought this product to try out and i am very pleased on how good it worked. it is super thick and clear in color, I poured it on and in the crack of the wood floor I used a wide paint brush to move it all around on top of the floor i watched as it went into the cracks, wow what a great clean job it did filling up all the cracks in the wood. let

Works As Advertised

Had a bad leak in my bathtub drain. The leak was pretty bad. Did not know that was the problem until it soaked the drywall and closet floor. Discovered the leak by luck. Coated the entire drain connection under the tub. Let it cure for 48hrs and coated it again and let cure for 24hrs. So far the leak is gone. Used a paint brush to apply. Easy to spread. So far so good!

Easy to use/works as advertised

We used this to seal a leak in the back of the tile surrounding an old 1940s bathroom as a safeguard after re-grouting the exposed tile in the shower area. Application was easy dry time before use was around 24 hours. We have not had any leaks since.

Will not dry: my feedback

I applied this product on concrete sheeting (USG DUROCK) a week ago today and it still has not cured. Remains unhardened and tacky. Have had a fan blowing to increase air circulation for 5 days and very little change. Asked other customers how long it really takes to dry. One said 24 hours. Another said 1 month. Unfortunately I trusted the reviews boasting what a great product this is. I am in the midst of a has to get done tiling job but sounding like I have no choice but to wait a month. Very

Saved my Fountain - my new review

I have a fiberglass fountain which had started to develop leaks and cracks. I tried another product with no success, I bought this as it was a good price and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on something that may not work. It sealed the fountain beautify so my fountain is up and running again.

Pros
  • The liquid sealant is easy to apply, reducing the need for special tools or equipment
Cons
  • The liquid may be difficult to transport or store
