Works best with splatter guard

I have a kitchen gadget, 13" and needed the smaller ones for my small frying pan, it was more expensive than I thought but I decided to buy anyway. Doesn't splatter at all, works great but don't use it in a smaller pan as it will discolor. Would buy this brand again, people saying it doesn't work because they have the side with the metal on it should be up.

  • Nice item

Very good for mudguard

I like the durability of this mudguard. This pot is a little big for a 3 liter pot but there are small feet on the bottom to keep it in place for a pot of this size and not touch the countertop when you remove it. I'll see if they come in smaller sizes. One thing that might 'possibly' be an idea is that their handle easily fits onto the pot handle in case you need to lift the pot while cooking and the splatter guard stays securely in place as you do only need one hand instead of two. one to…

Best Sprinkler Protection I've Ever Used

I cook A LOT of bacon (5+ pounds a week) and use it every time with no problem. I only have my hand over it to "test" it and I've never been splashed all over it. I'd say it stops at over 97%, but that's a very good result. I hadn't splattered anything, but I usually cook with bacon grease too (maybe it's too big to go through?). Perfect fit for my 10.25 cast iron house with lots of rims. It has bumps on the edge so you can put it down without getting it dirty. The handle has never felt hot. I…

Buyer Warning. good for kitchen utensils and gadgets

I am an experienced screensaver user. Too bad I didn't take a picture before having to throw it away after the second use. Immediately after touching a hot skillet, which I had well covered while cooking meatballs for my first use of this new screen, the cheap, thin aluminum screen changed color to a dark black-purple and stayed that way, damaged but just warming up very little. The second use was to use it as an appetizer for cooking french fries on the stovetop with a minimal amount of…

Full hot oil pan control

I bought this to replace another manufacturer's screen which I returned to Revain. This screen was bent and ineffective. I wondered if all the screens would be disappointing. This screen is great. There are some bumps in the colander, but the rim is nice and flat and fits snugly on my 12" pan. This morning I roasted the asparagus over high heat to test its ability to hold oil in the pan. There was no lubrication except when I lifted the screen to turn the asparagus. I used to have cheap…

it works! Makes Keto Cooking Easier!

My family is trying to eat healthier (which means keto to us). So we've been treating ourselves to steaks more often lately. And while steaks are fairly easy to prepare, when they're done, my stovetop is covered in grease. hicks. Same problem with bacon. Then I noticed that on a lot of the cooking shows I watch, the chefs use splatter guards when frying. . . So I went to Revain, read a billion reviews (thanks to Revain reviewers!) and settled on this one. And all of those reviewers were right -

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

An excellent product is offered. Learn to use it properly.

Excellent product offered. Learn to use it properly. Place the "grid" on the pan or the oil will spill onto your ranger. Flip it over and use the wire with the 4 dented side to lay it on the counter/table to relax. 4 "dents" are "legs". A lot of people giving a bad qualification DO NOT know how to use it properly, instead they put 2 wires in the pan = WRONG!!.! Most frying pans have 4 indentations outside the frying pan. Due to the surface tension of the liquid, the oil "pulls" out of the pan…
