This hammer didn't even last 4 hours in my yard. Took this hammer because my good one was starting to break. I also cracked more rocks in those 4 hours than I have in the last 2 years with my good 45oz. Complete waste of my money.
Poor quality control. One side of the hammer is worn out by the lining after a short time. The other side is holding on. . . beautiful. It looks like the metal part of the hammer that is covered with rubber on one side has a sharp edge/fault or something. I would not recommend buying.
Husband bought for whipping ice off trailer winches (he is a truck driver). And it broke on the first use. Now he wasn't pounding like a madman, he knew he didn't want to damage the equipment. The return window has expired so we can't get a refund (it's only been 30 days). If you plan on using this like a hammer for its intended purpose, be forewarned.

You can actually knock something out of the blue without damaging it if you're careful. However, obviously use common sense when deciding whether or not to hit something with a 3 pound hammer.
I have been using this item for assembling and installing office furniture for a few months now and it has proven to be of great value. I wasn't kidding and I'm not getting paid to say so, but it legitimately does more work than the little orange hammers you buy at the hardware store, they're heavier and the surface is a bit softer so you can really hit things and force them to obey. without damaging surfaces. When you hit metal, the surface won't let you down as it's a bit softer, but whenโฆ
I liked the light green color and wanted to add this tool to my inventory but was a bit frustrated that the tool didn't last long even after my first attempt at using it. Of course, we all know you get what you pay for, but I only use this on vehicles that have New England corrosion and salt seeping into the surface of the rotors where they make contact with the rim/wheel mounting surface. After my first use to knock down a tire, it split the outer rubber coating and exposed the metal part inโฆ
