Perfect Grohe replacement hose

After many years my kitchen sink hose was worn out and I needed a replacement. This one is exactly the same as the original Grohe I had which as you can see has rotted away. Thanks to the quick release of the old one, it only took me a few minutes to install this one. Perfect in every way, I see no difference between this and the original Grohe.

Pros
  • Easy to use

Reliable replacement but only lasted 9 months

This was the correct item to replace our Grohe hose (it is NOT a Grohe but a compatible replacement). It didn't even last a year though and for the price if you're changing every 9 months then don't skimp and just buy a Grohe part. I gave it 3 stars because although it didn't last a full year, Essential Values refunded the original price to honor their warranty with minimal hassle.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Basic work for the Alira model

To replace the hose on a Grohe Alira faucet, the fasteners, control lever and top of the flow control valve must be removed to allow the faucet lever to be removed. Base to get the hose disassemble almost completely. When reassembling, make sure all O-rings are properly seated. Installing the spring and other parts on the hose to connect to the power supply helps in good third hand coordination.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Good although it took less than 2 years

It was easy to install and worked well for about a year and a half. Then it started dripping from the faucet. After a few months it started dripping under the sink too. Half the price of a genuine Grohe part seemed like a good deal to me when I bought it. But the original hose worked for 10 years without any problems. So I just swapped the Broken Essential Values hose for a more expensive Grohe and hope I get my money's worth.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • High price

Terrible quality: faucet spray hoses

I replaced a kitchen faucet hose in July 2020 and it ruptured 4 months later as water was spraying out. Very poor quality of the material used - especially the plastic inside which is not visible when purchasing the product. This was the second hose ordered in the last 11 months and both with the same results. I bought this hose because it was the only one that fit my faucet model. I think now I'm going to change the whole faucet! I can't afford to repeat the mess he made in my kitchen.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • threadbare

Aftermarket hose for Grohe Lady Lux. SEE UPDATE.

I didn't see any difference between this part and the original Grohe hose except the price! I put some silicone grease on the o-rings and some teflon paste on the threads. Time will tell how it holds up. Fast delivery, thank you. Keep all instructions that came with your instrument. You'll be surprised how valuable part numbers are after 22 years! TO UPDATE. TO UPDATE. UPDATE I originally gave it 5 stars because I thought the Grohe part was overpriced. Bought late July, now late November. The…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than the others

I bought this to fix a broken hose on my Grohe Euro Disc kitchen faucet. I've been a little wary of buying non-branded ones, I usually use the brand name when fixing something like this. But since the price difference was huge, this hose was at least 50% LESS than the branded hose, I thought I'd try this kitchen hose because if it didn't work Revain would let me return the product. Also, I was reluctant to install the hose myself because the process seemed very complicated. After watching a…

Ideal hose replacement.

This hose is the perfect replacement for our Grohe Ladylux kitchen faucet. You simply screw the wide end into an Original Grohe hand shower, insert the hose into the open end of the faucet, and then under the sink screw the other end of the hose into the Grohe quick connector end. It should still be there from the previous installation, you don't need to buy another one. If you have already removed the quick connector, you can connect it to the water supply by simply pulling back the yellow…
