The drain pump is ideal for above-ground swimming pools.

I had to pour about 150 liters of rainwater from the top of the pool cover after the swimming season started. This took about 25 minutes, after which most of the rainwater was pumped out. Nice little device and efficient. I would recommend.

Amazing performance for a small pump and worked great!

Excellent product for the money! The little pump rid my pool of excess water and was ready to open my pool sooner than expected! From plugging it in to the end of use it worked flawlessly. Definitely recommend!

Not the best option for rough plumbing

I've hardly used the pump since August. In the last month and a half I have pumped water out of the pool cover about 6 times and no longer than 30 minutes at a time. We had a really bad storm last night and I just went outside to pump some water and the pump has stopped working. Never got a full season. Buyer Warning.

Outstanding quality and performance

Drains pool FAST. The suction is great and we had a lot of leaves but they never got clogged by the filter. I've tried cheap pumps, but this one was so quick and easy that it didn't have to be changed every year. Comes with a drain hose and adapters to connect to any size longer hose. Excellent purchase!

Does the job! Suitable for drain pumps

Old canvas pump after many years of use. This is his replacement. Works perfectly! Uses a fitting that works with the included hose as well as a garden hose connector. It successfully diverts water 100 feet to the front lawn (the lot is flat). It may tip over if the hose goes straight up, you will need to install something to support the hose to prevent it from falling and tipping over the pump. .Very happy with the value for money.

Works well so far!: Water pumps, parts and accessories

Just started this. Bought this to flush water off my pool lid. He did well; did not clog even though there was a lot of pollen. I ended up using it to siphon water out of a large tank that I was using to collect siphoned water from my pool (due to algae). I put the end of the hose in the hose and led it out into the yard. Both goals achieved! Doesn't keep up with the water sucked in, but you don't expect that either.

When I first fitted the pump to pump water out of the pool cover everything was perfect! It's very calm, the water drains off at a good speed, so I thought, "This is amazing! Everything will be settled in one day! When I checked the pool cover about 30 minutes later, the pump stopped but there was enough water to drain. Checked if anything is clogging the vent, everything is clean. Thinking it might be a problem with the outside socket, I brought the pump inside and plugged it into the inside…

Not bad... Could be cheaper.

Update: My pump has failed after three weeks of heavy use. It would be great if they cost $15. But at such a high price, I'd rather buy a more powerful pump for $10 or $15 more than this one. Not bad for what it's advertised for. But it's a tiny plastic pump with added plastic to make it look bigger than it is. And I don't expect the little plastic impeller to last very long in anything other than perfectly clean and clear water. The information on Revain is very good, especially the video…
