Mold holes are misaligned

Product matches the price. The end caps required construction screws to drill through so they would not come loose. The casting hole was misaligned and symmetrical.; You will need to trace/traverse the holes in the backplate onto the masking tape and then turn in the opposite direction to drill the bench.

Anything but rectangular

I'm not sure if the other reviewers got paid or if I just got a poor quality instrument, but the base of my vise doesn't line up exactly with the front. This makes a function impossible. You can't even close it on your own, let alone have some wood on it for the vise finish, as the rods and screws come out of the base at different angles.

Decent product with no installation guide or hardware list.

Like1. Inexpensive.2. Easy to install.3. Easy to use.4. Pretty durable. Dislikes: 1. No installation instructions.2. As you open and close, the vise pressure becomes even until you close the part. It's ok but when you try to align the vise boards with the bench it's tricky.3. There is no list of gear to buy. let me do you a favor Buy a 1" forstner bit. This will make the holes big enough for the guide rods and threaded rod. Buy 8 #14 pan head screws. The length is up to you, your bench will be…
