I've been sewing for decades and I still haven't found a better Gutermann thread for machine sewing. Are they a little expensive? Yes. Does it mean more expensive, fewer headaches, fewer snags, cleaner lines, and stronger stitches overall? Absolutely. If you want to finish something and also want it to look good, grab a Gutermann yarn. You will not be disappointed.

This yarn may cost more than what you might pay to buy from your local fabric and craft store, but you can't beat same-day delivery! I used this thread on a dress with a bit of stretch and I didn't find any tearing despite the tension. The thread is strong and doesn't break easily. Lots of super quality threads on the spool to fit my everyday sewing machine. The threads are WHITE and it is not oddly gray, which can be seen in the photo in the description. This will be my favorite topic from now on. It really is twice the yarn for half the money and better quality.
