I love these things. They make all my wiring repairs look professional and dependable. and also. Makes everything much easier and more professional. I wish I had had her many years ago.

I ordered them by mistake. I wanted to take with solder. But I decided to leave this one. I've only tried a few. They seem to be fine. There were no problems putting it on, the shrinkage is excellent. Seems like they should have a stop in the middle as well. The wire didn't go through. So you don't have to worry about running out of disk space on the other end.

I don't think that's all you'll ever want, but it's close. They work well but I'm concerned about durability. I have nothing to say other than that they get a bit brittle when heated. But again, that's speculation on my part, as I haven't used them long enough to see any major bugs.

I have used several of these devices and am glad I bought them. I've never used one with glue already in there before. I like it! I will never use unwrapped glueless shrink connectors ever again! I ONLY use a U-shaped grinder. Feel free to test the strength by trying flat and U shape and trying to pull them apart. The U-shape won't let up! With a flat breaker you can pull the wire. I've been using these heat shrink butt connectors since 2013. I keep buying them because they work just fine. I would suggest ratcheting pliers to make sure you don't rip the heat shrink tubing. Once they have been connected to the wire and heated with a small flame or heat gun, it is literally impossible to remove them other than cutting that section of wire and splicing the wire again. The metal in the connectors is a little flimsy, but with a Haisstronica HS-8327 crimping tool they hold the wire well enough that I don't have to worry about the electrical connection. I did a non-aggressive pull test on the connector after crimping and before shrinking, and it held.
