Superb dog tag collar

Can't tell you how useful it is as a training collar; I use it exclusively for my dog to lay out his tags. It is soft and comfortable, can be worn at any time, lying down, relaxing, etc., and it seems very well made.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost never

Great as a collar, no garotte

I use this as a daily collar for my dogs. . Cannot recommend this for walking/correcting as the metal rings are too small. When tightened they are too tight and will not loosen like a traditional metal choke chain. Although it works fine for my needs.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Empty

Great non slip collar great replacement collar

I use it to reinforce a spiked collar for my dogs and it's excellent. Light enough not to bother him or get tangled up with a prong, strong enough that I could hold him if needed. I have a 3/4" x 24" for my 90 lb German Shepherd Longhair and it fits great (he wears both; the leash attaches to both so if the prong falls off the collar it stays connected)

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Long wait

Constricted puppy struggles to slide

This may be normal for an adult dog, but our puppy, who has never worn a collar before, struggled and once the collar was tightened, he could not get off without help. I've shown dogs with nylon/cloth training/choke collars before, so not the first time. Very "sticky" so maybe a week or so might help pulling it back and forth through the ring? Or no. Unfortunately, there are several variations of this type of puppy size/training collar.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Annoying

Great collar, fits collars, harnesses and leashes

The collar works great and limits the tension on my boxer. In general I like it, however I have the feeling that after 1 month it is already visible that the material is wearing out. NOTE. I have a boxer who pulls a lot. So if your dog is not that strong, the collar will fit perfectly. I think for large powerful breeds this collar should either be a bit thicker or better material so I don't have to buy a new one after 4-6 months of use. I will give an update on the quality and durability. at 6โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Poor quality and customer service

I originally ordered 3 leashes but I was able to find matching leashes for 2 so I switched from pink to purple hoping it would be the same. Couldn't pick up the purple one so they asked for a refund and I was charged with no reason given but guessing because I had already returned one. I would change the purple too, but the black doesn't match. Now in just a few weeks the 2 I kept are not shedding like crazy and wearing out terribly. Of course, after returning both bits, you will have toโ€ฆ

The only collar I use

People get out of shape when they hear 'choke collar' but it's human unless you choose to be evil , what would you do without this collar anyway. I adopted a feral street dog from Malaysia who was bought when he was 6 months old. Although I've had dogs my whole life I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into so I immediately bought a set of Cesar Milan training DVDs. The most helpful tip I learned was how to walk your dog without flinching. They put the collar up around his neck, which wouldโ€ฆ
