In general very satisfied!

Please note that in reality the colors are lighter than in the photos - other than that I am very happy with the purchase! First we ordered dark green but it's more of a turquoise, then we ordered burgundy and even though it's a bit lighter it still looks good to my pup so I'm happy! It seems to be of great quality and I like the way the buckle goes through the ring - it feels more secure.

I have a problem with dogs

I love the Hamilton brand, have used their halters when I had a horse. I really liked the collars for my black labrador who passed away last December aged 13. We had a variety of colors for the seasons/holidays. We now have a beagle pup so we bought her a hamilton, clearly a smaller size, we are having trouble getting it through the ring before you block it. It seems that the ring is not a great enuf. We have never had this problem with the large Hamilton collars in our lab.

Collar that I will buy for all my dogs in the future

Very good collar. The seams do not scratch the neck. I like how the clip has to go through the ring first before it snaps into place. My older dog sometimes pulls my younger dog's collar when they are playing and she has untied the old collar several times so I was afraid of losing him and his dog tags. I'm not worried about what's going on with it. This is the second of these collars that I have for my dogs. I think I will only get them in the future.

Hamilton is my favorite collar brand because of the clasp that fastens over the fabric guard so I don't accidentally pinch my dog's neck with it. I had to replace her collar 4 years later (same collar) after one side of the clasp broke. I take her collar off every night before bed and put it back on in the morning so that she has done a good job before it breaks. Just not as reliable as other brands' lifetime guarantees. But still very happy with this brand!

Yes. Buy it. for basic collars

satisfied with the purchase. This is my 2nd time buying this brand. I have two young fairly large dogs who love to pull each other's collars. One dog wore this tag for several months, no problem. Didn't come off at all. My other dog has been through quite a few other collars due to someone else pulling her neck. Eventually the collars fell off and they both played tug of war, tearing the collars. The way this collar is attached feels more solid and sturdy. Also, my dog was very happy to have a…

Best quality in collars, harnesses and leashes

I liked this collar because the clasp is relatively easy to use and the canvas strap feels silky. I prefer the one she used for the first 14 months: very small, with a buckle the same pink color as the collar and silky to the touch. Now that she needs a larger size I was hoping I could get the same thing in a larger size. Well, at least barely. I could do without the black decorative stripe, but maybe I'll learn to appreciate it as a sign of youth. When she outgrows her puppy collar, I think I…

The colors are much stronger than in the pictures.

This collar is your standard dog collar. I have a feeling it's made for smaller dogs but it's adjustable so it might fit larger dogs. I personally have a 4 month old pug and it suits her perfectly. I have adjusted it to the size she is right now and I still have room to adjust so I know it will fit for a few more months. I have "pink" but the color is much lighter than in the picture. It's more neon pink than pink, but it's still a very pretty color, so I'm not upset at all. Overall I think…

good durable collar

I really like this collar and once my pup agreed he would always be with her he stopped bothering her. I give it a 4 instead of a 5 just because it can be a real pain to get up and get off. To close the clasp, you have to thread it through the loop, and puppies don't always have the patience for that. I bathe my dog once a week so I have to struggle to undress and then put him back on. But if it stays with your dog only, I recommend it. This is a very hard mode that is highly customizable. My…

Poor design and sub-par quality of fabric

I am using this collar on an 11 week old yellow labrador puppy. I take off the collar when it's packed in the car or at night. It's inconvenient to use due to the design - press to unlock, slide the plastic clasps through the metal ring. In other words, it's not easy to snap and unlock. Also, as the pup grows - and he grew in the three weeks I've had him - due to the lack of tape to secure the new position (as I often found with other adjustable collars), the adjustable portion of the buckle…
