Do not buy this shower head. He's clearly wrong. About a year after purchase it started leaking from the bottom as can be seen in the photos. Hansgrohe was great and sent me a replacement. They have been doing this for 4 years now. About every year the shower head starts leaking and they send me a new one. This year they sent another model. I definitely recommend the company! They are amazing! Not this shower.

Perfect replacement for my Hansgrohe C 150 AIR Raindance that started leaking. I love this shower head and was very happy to find an exact replacement. You don't need an "installation" which is expensive and unnecessary. If you are reasonably familiar with basic plumbing, this is not a problem. Just use some good teflon pipe tape and tighten the new head with a suitable spanner or wrench. This shower head isn't cheap, but I think that's the current price for Hansgrohe.

We had a leak in our shower which resulted in having to redo the entire bathroom, at least after 4 grueling days of plumbing, subsurface and all, it was done . I couldn't wait to try my new shower head. I hooked it up to a Hansgrohe 16" shower arm with a Grohe (not Hansgrohe) thermostatic switch. One shower and so far it's pure heaven. This Hansgrohe has been great for exactly 4 months! It had plenty of pressure, no leaks and looked fantastic. But one day I wake up looking forward to my shower and bam. Minimum water pressure from the shower head. At first I thought it was an issue with the valve in the switch, but my body sprays have worked great. A few years ago, the showerhead began leaking between the light gray spray disc and the metal plastic shroud. It's getting worse.
