Love it but no room for blocks when boxes are stacked inside each other

Really love this brand of children's toys. I bought some Hape items because I love wooden toys for my son. The only downside to this toy is that there is no place to store the blocks once the birdhouses are stacked inside each other.

Pros
  • Includes five multifunctional birdhouses with innovative design
Cons
  • Expensive

I like it. It is not plastic and does not flash.

I like it. It's not plastic, doesn't blink or make any noise, which I think is great for both the kid and the parent. The boxes are durable, attractive and my son loves them. He also likes to play on it with his wooden blocks, which is pretty cute and looks like fun. It's nice to have something fun and safe to play with while I'm cleaning or reading. Toddlers love projects!

Pros
  • Recommended for ages 18 months to 4 years
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

This is a great idea for a toy.

This is a great idea for a toy. Love the concept - tree, stack, blocks, shape sorting is a great way to mix and match activities for endless fun. The problems lay in the processing quality. There were holes everywhere, the pieces of wood didn't fit together, there was a chemical smell, and the paint was peeling off on your fingers in one spot (probably not set correctly). I suspect the first two won't make much of a difference once baby is older, but it's suitable for developing toddlers who…

Pros
  • Colored figures correspond to large blocks with figure holes for sorting.

My son loves it!: Construction toy

My son is too small for this as I bought it when I found it for a good price (not Waiting). However, at 14 months he LOVES it. He really likes carrying blocks around (and let's be honest, he likes banging them on objects). He had just figured out how to place the forms in their intended places and was intrigued. There are a few criticisms from other reviewers that I wanted to respond to. First the design. This item appears to be made of plywood, so the wood is layered. It's not composite, but…
