The machining (aluminum parts) is poor at best. 1) The depth gauge (used to determine the height of the screw holes) is not at a 90 degree angle to the corresponding foot, there is a 1/16 inch gap when checked with an angle. This results in one of the screw holes not being square to the other screw (my handles require two screws to attach to the door/drawers. This 1/16" gap resulted in a 1/8" hole difference

Very nice materials and design. It appeared to be a quality tool, but a small issue made it totally unsuitable for my work. The sliding depth gauge fitted the drill guides perfectly until you locked it in place with the set screw. The gap between the slider and the ruler is too large, so that the stop tilts when the locking screw is tightened. Mine is angled 1/16" on a 5" grip. This item is worth the purchase price. This saved us a lot of trouble installing cabinet handles in our new kitchen. It's as accurate as you can measure it - within a millimeter (roughly 0.040 inch) of course, so your eye won't notice a slight deviation. Once you learn how to use it (practice a small piece of wood or two), knock out the handle and your project will be assembled. Just measure twice and cut once as always. This product is made of high quality material, it's just poorly calibrated and can't be used right out of the box without checking it carefully. On the plus side, the parts kit is metal and mostly well-made aluminum profiles. On the other hand, its accuracy cannot be relied upon from the start.
