Easy to install and works fantastic

This heatsink works great in a desktop environment and keeps my M.2 drive away from heat. Having a heatsink that big on an M.2 drive might be a bit paranoid overkill, but I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to my data. I always try to be sure, I'm not sorry. This heat shield was easy to install on my M.2 drive and didn't interfere with the pins or assembly in any way. I am very satisfied with this spotlight. I give all 5 stars!

It works for PS5 though. Best fans and cooling

Also fits PS5 and the flap can be closed. Follow these instructions: After aligning the thermal pads (be careful as the pad is not very sticky and can fall off) and reassembling, ONLY install the FRONT LEFT and REAR RIGHT screws. It will fit and be safe. After inserting and screwing the SSD into the Ps5 it turned out to be a bit high (don't worry) so just take your time and tilt the plate into the slot and screw it in.

Minimal investment to shave the tip a bit which helps

M.2 drives are still part of a market that's getting wet when it comes to cooling. Large drives are only now finally arriving in platter and heatsink formats, but even those are still a bit rare (maybe they'll become more common by the end of the year). They're on their own for now, mostly finding ways to keep those drives cool. So far, this appears to be an inexpensive way to achieve this. Great heatsink, but thin thermal pads may not work with all SSDs

This is an attractive heatsink with a thoughtful design to cool your NVMe drive. The low-profile shape is ideal for motherboards with M.2 slots next to PCIe slots where a larger heatsink would get in the way. Installation is as simple as four screws, but the included thermal pads are pretty flimsy (0.5mm top and bottom).
