Good idea. But not an effective product. The two biggest issues I had were: 1. The grips are too small for my fingers. (And I don't have thumbs, pinky fingers can fit). 2. The pliers are not strong enough to cut nails effectively and seem to dull quickly. I like the shape of the design so far and would try another model that is stronger even if I had to pay more for it.

I have not tried them yet. We need to find out if it's possible. The finger holes in it weren't made for a man. I don't know how to hold her. Can work for a small woman. I don't know how well they will work once I get to use them. You are very thin. My nails are very thick and hard. I've used wire cutters to cut them in the past. Clippers don't work on them. Maybe they're sharp enough to work even if they're fragile, but I don't know. If I had seen them in a store I would not have bought them.

I expected a better product. It wasn't easy to use either. I was disappointed that I recently had a hip replacement and thought I could trim my toenails without bending over until now. It might work better if I can move my hips more.

This clipper is for right-handed users only. I'm left-handed and can't use it. The company must include this information in the description. I gifted it to a family member because I didn't feel entitled to return something so personal.

The blades are dull and the nails are crumbling but won't cut; If you use too much force to cut, the handles may tilt or bend. The blade tips are relatively thick and difficult to insert into the corner of the nail. They also don't work well on uneven nails.

Great item but the blade is so dull it cuts a toenail instead of cutting it. You can end up trimming your toenails with a lot of effort, but that's a meager recommendation. It seems pretty easy to attach a good clipper or pair of scissors to an oblong implement to actually trim your nails. This seems to be an item that would sell well as many people have trouble accessing some or all of their toenails for trimming, either temporarily or permanently. I used these to trim my toenails. I was hoping they were long enough due to my hip arthritis. Unfortunately, they're four to six inches short for my needs, but fine for other cutting tasks. I wish they had much longer handles. The order status on Amazon still says they're on their way, but I can't click and change that status to 'delivered'.
