HHIP 4901 1208 Machinist Steel Square Review

This machinist square is a must-have for any individual working in carpentry or metalwork... Its sturdy steel construction ensures long-lasting durability and precise measurements. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently vouch for the accuracy of this square. The only downside is that it can be a bit heavy for extended use, but the benefits far outweigh this minor inconvenience. I wasn't expecting much given the price and it was about what I was expecting. The thin bar was a bit off so I had to fit it into the square using the best quality square as a guide. Still not perfect because the short sides of the thin bar are not ground at right angles (=parallelogram) and the width of the thin bar varies by a few tenths over the length. But it's fine for rough work and layouts, plus at this size it's more accurate than the adjustable bar square I've used before.
