good alternative to existing options

Because this holder holds the bike by the handlebars and not the frame, there is no problem coordinating which bike should be in which position and each bike will always fit. Also, none of the bikes break like the ones I've used in the past. I was concerned that the smaller tube wouldn't support as much weight, but I didn't see any flexing or breaking after a 200+ mile ride a few weeks ago. Instead of buying a 4 bike rack that extends past the hitch, I ordered (2) 2 bike blocks. One attaches to

Light but not suitable for all bikes.

This was the recommended bike rack on the back of my R-Pod 178 trailer. What is not mentioned in the description is that this rack will NOT work if your bike has a pannier rack. The tire hooks just aren't long enough to reach the rims. In addition, a bicycle has disc brakes, which make the trunk even wider. The inside bike is difficult to get on and off, even though we could somehow get the hooks to reach the rims. I loaded bikes that would fit on the rack and the rack rocked too much for myโ€ฆ

Don't buy this, much worse than the previous version

I thought I'd buy the Highland Sport Wing 2 aluminum bike rack that I've had in the past. This version is nonsense. It's made of steel, so it's very heavy and has several problems1. In contrast to the previous version, the wheel supports are adjusted at fixed points. I CANNOT put an XL mountain bike on this rack2. The arms are not as long as in the previous version. Tandem or triple bike

Undoubtedly this is an unusual bike rack and I hesitated before purchasing. I've been using it for about a year and several thousand kilometers. For reference, this review is based on the (rather small car) Chevrolet Spark. Here are my impressions: 1. Very little packaged. It is very easy to store at home or in the car. Easily and quickly assembled/disassembled.2. Tandem - this allows me to easily carry the tandem in the back of the car, usually I just take off the front wheel which I alsoโ€ฆ

great shelf for the money.

Have used a Schwinn / Saris 2 bike rack for the last few years. Has served me well except the car had a spoiler and it was a hassle to fit 2 bikes. Especially my 29er ht and my sons 20 inch MTB together. Plus with my cobalt with the trunk so the bikes sat very high and killed gas mileage on long rides. I bought a hitch and installed it on my car while trying to choose a hitch post. something not insanely expensive but not the usual racks that would put the bikes back up on the car. The biggestโ€ฆ
