    Works well with many different motors

    Screw blocks had to be adjusted to fit mounting hardware on three boards. They worked well with motors from three to nine volts.

    You have to know what you're doing.

    If you don't know what Ohm's Law is, get something else. In short, however, they are ideal for 5V and up to 500mA. Unfortunately there is no current protection on the outputs, but by using a 10 ohm 1/4W resistor on each output phase you won't burn them out even if you accidentally short the outputs *after* the resistors.

    Not bad, basically a circuit board with a chip

I gave them 10k PWM and they took it but it got really hot when I got out of there. I tried to avoid sound problems and it's better to stay above 20kHz, but it didn't work. Here's a little more on that: 800mA DC. These ICs have built-in output clamp diodes. Each HG7881 (L9110) can control a DC motor via two digital control inputs.
