It's hard to find an organic cotton duvet. This is a beautiful color but the fabric is incredibly loose with large holes. This makes it too likely for the loops to snag and pull. It's only been in use for a few days and already looks like it survived the war. I saved it for emergencies and found another organic blanket with a tighter weave.

I am very sensitive to chemical odors and my skin does not respond well to some artificial fabrics. I am pleased that the Hillfair blanket is certified to Global Organic Textile Standards. And it didn't cost nearly as much as other organic cotton blankets. It smelled good even from the fabric packaging. I ordered a natural color, thinking it would be natural, unbleached cotton. It's bleached and very white which isn't the natural look I wanted so I'm a little annoyed. Update: 04/21/19 After I wrote my first review (see below) I received an email advising that a new blanket would be sent to me. There wasn't a single stretched thread in the new blanket. I've been using a change blanket for several months. I love it. I appreciate organic cotton. The fabric is a little thin. I'm careful not to catch him doing anything.
