Not Reliable Enough

I was really disappointed with the industrial and scientific Anchors pack that I recently purchased. Based on my observations, I found these Anchors to be rather flimsy and unreliable. While they initially seemed sturdy enough, they failed to hold up when put to the test. Suitable for pre-formed concrete bases

Used on pre-formed concrete bases to attach posts. Works very well, no need to clean a pre-drilled hole in the concrete.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price

Used for a home project. I would describe myself as a hobby craftsman, I'm not an amateur, but I'm not a professional either. They worked as expected for the application. The manufacturer's website lists drill bit sizes according to the size of the anchor, which helped me a lot. I would suggest using a masonry drill bit that matches the manufacturer's diameter and this anchor didn't just slip in place. There was a couple of light hammers/taps to get them fully in place. It didn't affect theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • 1 year trial
