WORKS WELL ON LS6 CTSV

Installed on 2005 CTSV LS6. Everything fit and the car drives better than ever. It was 80,000 for the candles that were on the car when it was bought.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Upgradeable

All 8 spark plug leads tested with a multimeter Failed

I don't know if I just received a bad batch of leads or they are heating up quickly because all 8 spark plug leads are tested with a multimeter. After about 300 miles on them and after randomly giving the car multiple misfires on a 2005 ls6 cts-v, I finally plugged in all the new spark plug wires from one of my other projects and voila, the cars are powered again, the spark plug were good, at least it wasn't a total loss

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Unsure

Be extra careful when installing

Spark plugs worked great and have preset gaps. Be especially careful when connecting leads to spark plugs. You will feel/hear 2 clicks when attached. When driving hard on my z06, a cable came loose. Had to reconnect after check engine light came on. We will update the review if this continues and you need new cables. One positive aspect about them is that they are much easier to install. These wires do not use a standard connector.

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • Expensive
