Easy to install. Neat appearance. Changing the oil becomes a lot easier as I can thread it through the outside of the tractor frame if needed. The price was good: I couldn't build the same black pipe drainage system without a lot of effort and a little savings.

This worked great on my 27 gallon Husky supercharger. I bought a second one for my pancake compressor and it has a very small ball valve leak. ***UPDATE*** I checked the ball valve again and there is no more leakage! I suspect some debris was blocking the valve from closing fully, but after draining the tank the debris was thrown out.

This is a must have for any vertical air compressor. I have a 155psi Dewalt unit and it fits with no problem. Much easier than trying to open the peacock at the bottom of the tank. The valve handle is plastic, so keep it under the compressor to avoid stepping on it and damaging it. The rest are heavy materials.

After installation, it turned out that the last fitting was never tightened at the factory. Luckily I was able to get down to the bottom and use tape and putty to secure the end piece as well. No leaks after repair, but it should never have left the factory like this. When you buy, check ALL the fittings before connecting to the air compressor.

I got tired of reaching under the tank with pliers to empty the tank, so I waited too long. Bought one from the HF which was crap in my opinion. Bought after several attempts to get another one to work, this dump valve is great! I can even chop it slightly to slowly drain it, or just walk over and open it occasionally. Great value for using! The ease of assembly is about the same as a manual drain, then you have a simple faucet that can be opened at any time.

I installed this on my 30 gallon Craftsman. Vertical compressor to replace the OEM drain plug. The OEM drain has an internal baffle that catches debris (possibly surface rust) that constantly clogs the drain, forcing me to remove it to clean the drain on the compressor tank. This fitting has a simple ball valve. When open, there is enough space and airflow to blow out both water and sediment, keeping the drain clean. It's going to be noisy and spray a lot because it's wide open, but that's what
