The best recommendation I can give is to use a small secondary monitor as a competitor display or as a rain gauge. I bought 2 so I can do both! Windows 10 and Nvidia Control Panel do not by default recognize the correct resolution for this monitor, so be aware of that. I fixed it by creating a custom resolution of 800*480 and changing the active pixels to match the resolution in the Nvidia control panel. You look great!

This little monitor looks good and works well. UNTIL you try to play the video on Netflix, Disney+ or Hbomax. It doesn't matter if the video is played on another monitor, HDCP (Digital Content Protection/drm on video) will make a small monitor snow like an old TV. I spent quite a bit of time on this work. It didn't work at all with any of the HDMI cables I had with my PI. It was set to a higher resolution, but I couldn't get it to work well on my Macs. I was trying to use this as a hardware monitor for my PC. The 2 main issues preventing me from recommending this are: 1. The viewing angles are terrible. The description says 178° viewing angle. This screen is the right size for the Raspberry Pi and can be easily installed next to the Raspberry Pi box via the app system. The non-HD resolution of 800x400 actually works well with the Raspberry Pi as running an HD monitor can slow it down. I also tried this with a PC and a Chromecast display. For Windows, this works fine, but Chromecast streaming cannot be viewed. For the price, this is a great non-touch monitor for the Raspberry Pi.

Works great, you need to add a custom resolution for the GPU to recognize it at 60Hz. I added 800 x 480 @ 60Hz and it works great for my needs.
