The filter seems really nice and well built and worked fine for at least 6 weeks before it just couldn't be cleaned. I've tried cleaning it every 2-3 weeks as I know washable filters require extra maintenance and I have 2 cats and a dog and live in Colorado where there is a lot of surrounding wildfire smoke. Thank you K&N for entering this home market. I have been a fan of automotive products for many years and I feel I have the same value here. For the same price as a pack of 3 disposable filters of the same size, I now have a reusable filter with the same filtering capacity. The construction is great and this item outperforms every other "reusable" block on the market (and I've tried them). In addition, the stable frame snaps into place better than the cardboard version.
