Several reviews have found that the remote control receiver is too large, making installation difficult. The instructions do not indicate where the remote control receiver should be located. The photo below shows where it should go.

The fan arrived on time and well packaged. No parts were damaged and all in stock. Installation was easy and the instructions were easy to read. The remote control has three speed levels and the light is adjusted when you press the button for a few seconds. I plan to buy a few more for other rooms in my house.

This fan is very nice. This is not a problem. It has a modular remote control box that's big and bulky, and you're expected to place it in the middle of the fan, which is close to impossible. It took my husband almost an hour to operate this unit, holding the entire fan and trying to spin it. It has never been so difficult. For this reason I cannot recommend it. You can find a prettier fan that doesn't want you to destroy it before installing it.

This is such a nice looking fan that fits very well in our master bedroom. Light alone wouldn't be enough to adequately illuminate the space, but we don't really use it. From the size of the remote receiver that doesn't fit in the lid to the fact that it comes with a balancing kit!
