Great for calming down!

Excellent price for peace of mind. We bought three of these for our HVAC systems, keeping the air in our home clean and going back to some of the services we used pre-COVID. instantly

  • Beautiful packaging

Kills airborne pathogens

Bought one for home after installing several at work. In my professional opinion, this is the best. Easy installation, quality materials and packaging. Germicidal ultraviolet radiation is one way to destroy pathogens in your home. In most cases, filtration protects the equipment, not you, and many pathogens are too small to be filtered out with available filters. Please investigate.

It looked easy to install

It has definitely helped my family with allergies etc. It's not over yet, but it's definitely a necessary protection. I read the install guide and asked around how to install it. It looked easy to install. But I got a lot of conflicting information. I ended up having the guy who did the $50 annual inspection install it. Good decision, he knew what he was doing.

All parts required not included

I knew I would need an AC adapter to get the job done but the instructions mention "Air Duct Adapter" and it wasn't included and is going where I also look set. Update: Confirmed by Honeywell that they no longer make "channel adapter". So if you install in a metal channel, everything is fine. However, if you are installing in a fiber optic duct, do not purchase this item!

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Almost OK

Looks great in my attic still in the box

Update: I installed it (easy to do) and it seems to be working great. The lamp still works but our HVAC specialist who comes every six months says the lamp only puts out UV for about a year. I still have to change the lightbulb. I received it in November 2014 (now FEB) because it can be connected to my device's 24 volt system. I knew I would never drive as far as AC to power this thing. Let's see how long it takes me to install it. So why did I write a review? So I can be the first? Oh, and one

Easy install fit for air purifier

Installation wasn't that bad. Here's what I did. - Determined with a multimeter 120 VAC to AC always on. - Power disconnected from the HVAC for safe working conditions - Determine the ground point on the HVAC - Determine the correct input-side wires on the transformer (sold separately) - Plug the unnecessary wires at the lug socket connected to the transformer into the LINE line of the transformer input. There is an unused and live connector on the terminal block in my air conditioner. The…
