I really don't know where to start. I am absolutely amazed by the effect this light gives to my work. Even at the lowest settings, they provide MORE illumination than products three times the size and much more expensive. I've been using them for a couple of weeks now, and while they're not on all the time, I turn them on fairly often and have had no signs of the battery dying. I ordered these lights to illuminate my work in an otherwise very dark basement hallway. You are perfect! You can attach them to walls or ceilings with tape or screws (both included). With the remote control you can use the timer function or even dim the light to any desired level. The lamp body swivels and tilts so you can direct the light where you want. The circle of light is obviously brighter as you place it closer to the artwork, but at 4ft each emits a bright light about 2ft in diameter.

I was always looking for a decent art lamp, but without success. I recently bought a reproduction of Klimt's The Kiss at Giglee on a whim and was very disappointed when I received it as it looked very bland in person, especially without the metallic gold leaf of the original.
