Wiring Harness - Exterior Accessories

Light insulation. Installed on a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder. Before installing the fairing on the car, connect it to the trailer to make sure the light works properly.

The towing line can then be easily pulled through the cavity.

Easy installation, instruction was exact for my tracker. I suggest using a 3 foot wire like a coat hanger or untwisted electrical wire, threading it through the bottom, grabbing it over the top with long needle nose pliers, and then hooking it onto the wire that comes with this kit is supplied. then the tow line can easily be pulled through the cavity of the rear wing fuselage.

Very easy installation

Once I figured out how/where the wiring should go, the installation was very easy. Trailer connected, all lights worked. The instructions looked like the wiring was on the back of the Pathfinder. I just pulled the wire from the light behind the bumper, it took a bit of work to thread it through the hole between the bumper and the car. After it was through, it was simply bolted to the hitch.

I was just lucky that the breakdown didn't occur during towing.

Works. This is a replacement for the exact same item installed in my Nissan. "Converter Box" is listed as waterproof. It broke after about 1 year. He opened the old one and found corrosion and moisture. Before that it worked perfectly. To be honest, I expected the device to last longer. I was just lucky that the breakdown didn't occur while towing a trailer.

Let there be light!

1999 Pathfinder had tail lights on the trailer but no brake lights or direction indicators. It took me 3 months of chasing cables to find out the box could be bad. Found this plugin on Amazon. The order came quickly. When I finally got around to installing it, I was done in 20 minutes. Worked like a charm and my lights were fully functional. advice from me. Boxes mounted from the outside under the body can corrode over time. I managed to hide the whole system in the trunk lining. When I need to

plug and play Perfect fit

So easy to install. It took about 30 minutes in total. I ended up routing the cable down and out of one of the rubber grommets next to the driver's side taillight. Here is a picture for size reference. There is no need to invent a carpet to lay it. Simply remove the side panels and then disconnect the cable connections. The instructions say the taillights need to be removed, but actually it's not necessary. I just put my hand behind the panel again and unplugged it. Note: The longest part of…

Installed on a 2001 Infiniti Qx4

As my name suggests, I installed this on a 2001 Qx4. The installation itself wasn't that bad but it just took a lot of time and you have to be patient especially when trying to route the wires and remove the inner skin. I installed mine by running a wire through the drain hose on the back of the sunroof. You can find the socket on the back of the driver's side, just below the taillight assembly. Wire from the passenger side under the carpet to the tail light on the other side. That's where…
