Adjustable Neck Stretcher for Horses by Horze Review

It was much shorter and smaller than I expected. It really isn't suitable for a big long horse without being really restrictive.

Can only wear this when my horse is fully warmed up as the largest adjustment is the tightest I need. I would have expected more flexibility from a neck stretcher.

I use them when training horses. They help keep horses in good shape and allow students to focus on steady hands. I thought the plastic clips would be a problem but they work fine. I am happy with the product and the horses keep up with the vertical while I use them.

Slightly shorter than expected. I have a 4 year old OTTB who has a shorter neck despite being 16.1. It only fits him about 1 inch extra elastic at the top. My horse shakes his head violently and tries to eat anything that gets in his eyes (he's a kid after all) but he hasn't noticeably gotten over it. 5 stars for quality, 4 for length.

I have the first version of this unit from Dover and absolutely love it. I ordered this one because the other one is overseas. The elastic on this one is too thick and not as flexible as the original (it's actually cheaper). I understand why people flip it and use it as a wiener rein - the clip that is supposed to adjust it and hold it over the back of the head has nothing to actually secure the elastic. My big Warmblood 17.1 hh LOVES this item. Now he keeps wanting to move up and down even if I ride him without him! NOTE: It is very large and VERY long. I do not use the product as shown in the photo. I slip the piece pictured at the back around my harness, thread it through his front legs, and then attach it to each side of the bridle. This makes it longer. Lunging him for a few months has really helped develop a good topline, especially in the loin area which really needed it because it's so…
