So if you have a 3/8" air hose it probably has a 1/4" thread and this fitting fits the Connects to 1/4". 4" Compressor Quick Coupler. I taped this connector to teflon tape, no leaks. So far, so good. You get two connections in the kit. You probably don't have much flow. So if you have a demanding air tool, maybe you need something better. For me the value is worth it as it gets the job done.

Glad the order had two male couplers. One for my new Dewalt DW66-C1 side nailer (no clutch) and one for the water filter behind my pancake air compressor. The external thread fits both tools perfectly and thanks to the hygienic tape on the threads it does not leak. Couplings are processed normally. I don't know about the durability but I'm sure that with minimal use of my side nailer the durability will be enough. Would buy this again.

I only gave these connectors 1 star because I couldn't give them 0 stars. Out of the box, these connectors look good. All brass as advertised and the workmanship looked great, however they will not fit other M or D style couplings. These plugs seal differently and poorly than US made plugs. These connectors seal on the end of the plug, while US connectors seal on the outside diameter of the plug. I checked it and they work together. In other words, the plug actually fit into the female…
