I love these cartridges for my HP laser printer. They work well and I've learned to take advantage of them when the print lightens. They are inexpensive, shipped quickly and provide me with a return label for recycling free of charge.

Toner works great, prints lots of pages, lasts a long time. The problem is the half board prices. I bought this product several times last year for $52. Today, six months later, the cost is now $69. That's a pretty big jump in price for no apparent reason. HP should be ashamed. They want you to use their official product, but then they chase you down to imitators just because they're greedy.

I have purchased several of these printer cartridges from Amazon and I have purchased 2 packs from this group which I opened this week. As usual, there was no orange tab, and while I found it odd, I didn't think about it too much. I have been ordering this cartridge for my HP printer for many years. I especially like that it comes in two packs so I always have one left when I run out. It prints a lot of pages, and when I finally see the ink starting to fade or get an ink low message, I just take out the cartridge, rock it gently a few times, swap it out, and it's back to business bold black ink color for a few hundred more pages. I installed this on my HP printer over two years ago. years ago i hardly used my printer on my apple, it started to print a line on the left side of the page, my windows based computer didn't so i thought it was just compatibility issues, two months later windows started based laptops do this. I found out on YouTube that this is a brush that needs to be replaced in the cartridge.
