If only more flexible

Very difficult to sand in tight spots. The material itself matches the qualities of polishing but for larger parts without limited space. Not my approach to sanding with buffing pads.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Not better! Suitable for body repair tools

Pencil edge around sink was chipped and rough. Went from 50 grit to 3000 grit with circular motions and water Five minutes per grit Smooth as a baby's bottom Perfect product and lasts forever if you use water and patience

They're tiny!: Buffing and Buffing Pads

Shocked at how small they are - about the size of a business card. I guess I'll keep them to myself and in a year or so I'll find out if they're worth the money. But to be honest, I expected these pads to be about 4 times larger than they actually are.

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • Crumpled

Ideal for polishing marble

Great product. If you're willing to put in (a lot) of effort, you'll get factory-quality results. Always work in a circular motion, going through each grain in turn. Use plenty of water and wipe dry regularly to check for scratches before moving on to the next grit. Pictured is a marble cabinet in the bathroom.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Doubtful

Cheap option for potters

A bit of a strange use case, I bought these Stadea Diamond hand polishes to finish the bottom of my ceramic pots. Diamond discs made for ceramics and sold on the market are much more expensive and work just as well. Five stars. The flexibility is really handy for shaping leg rings, especially useful for my macrocrystalline icing pots.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some little things

Perfect for removing scratches on granite or marble

I bought this unit to remove a large scratch on a brand new marble tile floor. It took a while but the scratch is completely gone and you can't even tell where it was! I've also used these pads to remove nicks on the edges of my granite kitchen countertops around the sink where pots and pans have been banging for years. I spent about an hour on this and you can't even see where the flaws were. Hiring a professional would cost me a fortune. I practiced on a piece of granite before working theโ€ฆ

Pros

Uneven grit, leaves scratches when buffed

Coarse grit pads smooth the surface but after you've run 800 and should be well polished each pad seems to have at least 2 or 3 grains of very coarse grit embedded in it, leaving HUGE scratches on the smooth surface. I was even able to find out where the bad grain was and seal it with tape and then cut that protruding foot off the entire backing, which helped but resulted in having to repolish several times when I located the bad grain. A 2 hour job becomes a 12 hour job. All you had to do wasโ€ฆ

  • Trial for one year

  • Available in white only

Doesn't look like it's gritty

I wanted to sand sinks with it made of acrylic. I used 3M 60 Frit Sandpaper but found it difficult to make progress even though I could. When I received the product it was well packaged and the rubber grip/velcro system worked well for attaching various granular sheets. But even the 50 grit blade didn't seem to do anything. I didn't even feel any roughness on the sanded surface. I tried a few sheets anyway as I've never used diamond sandpaper before and figured it might work differently. Noneโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Extra flexible - hand pads for hand polishing convex edges, formed surfaces and sink edges and corners suitable for installation
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Reliable product at a great price

I bought these when I couldn't get to small spots with diamond grinding wheels. I wasn't sure how they would work as this is my elbow lube versus a high speed tool. Also, they didn't have many reviews. To my surprise, they worked great! Most of the time I used a support block, but there were a few instances where I just used the pads themselves and they still worked great. Will definitely be stocking up because you just can't find the price. I've looked around and most places charge around $30โ€ฆ
